Medical & Trade Writing

Lisa has written hundreds of articles and professional materials for more than 50 medical and trade magazines. Lisa is known for accurate, clear, and concise writing delivered on deadline. She has developed long-standing business relationships with many of the people she has worked with over the last two decades.

Therapeutic writing areas: ophthalmology, optometry, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, pharmaceuticals, dentistry, physical and occupational therapy, and women’s health.

Services: article development and writing for print and Internet; development of CME and editorial supplements, podium/booth PowerPoint presentations, meeting abstracts; and editing.

Previously, Lisa worked as managing editor at several publishing companies, including Slack Inc. and O&B Communications, where she helped create, edit, and write two trade magazines, Cosmetic/Personal Care Packaging and Nutritional Outlook.  Today, she is a contributing writer with Beauty Packaging magazine.

Her work with Dermatology Times has garnered:

• Gold Triangle Award from the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) for writing in the on Sun Safety in the June 2007 issue of Dermatology Times.
• Gold Triangle Award from the AAD for my writing in the September 2004 Psoriasis Supplement from Dermatology Times.
