Writer. Editor. Essayist. Educator. Lisa Samalonis has been creating stories in one form or another since the age of ten. She earned a Journalism Bachelor’s Degree from The College of New Jersey and a Master’s from Emerson College.
Her work has appeared in many national consumer and trade magazines and websites. She writes on a wide range of medical, general, and family/parenting topics.
Lisa has worked as a medical reporter, pharmaceutical business writer, and marketing consultant for more than 15 years. Her work also includes meeting and Continuing Medical Education (CME) supplements, meeting and corporate presentations, and international abstract submissions.

Lisa enjoys sharing her industry experience and writing skills with the next generation of writers. She is an adjunct professor of Journalism with the College of Communications at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, where she teaches magazine writing for print, trade, and the web.
